Vintage Pillows

Textiles play a crucial role in interiors, contributing significantly to the overall aesthetic, functionality, and comfort of a space! They are one of the key "finishing touches" to your home in my eyes, they can truly elevate the entire atmosphere. (They also have the ability to break a space too FIY. But don’t I have tips below to help you choose the right pillows for your home! ) The more unique your selections are, the more story your fabrics tell! One of my favourite approaches to visually storytelling through textiles is by incorporating vintage pillows. Adding a vintage textile pillow to the mix can create a delightfully unexpected vibe, character and authenticity!

After hundreds of requests, I have selected a handful of my favourite vintage pillow shops below.

Luvtextiles

Handmade ethnic vintage pillows made in Chiang Mai, Thailand. A mix of traditional mudcloth and hmong fabric.

ZD Kilim pillow

Traditional Turkish textiles from Istanbul. We have several pillows and rugs from this shop in our home. Fast delivery and excellent quality. They often have sales too!

istanbluevintage

Vintage Persian pillows and kilim, straight from the source and heart of Istanbul. I love the 45 x45 plain textured neutral pillows! They look great on their own or paired with colour.

BegHomeDesign

Great soft designs with vintage kilim cushions, great sizes for a touch of vintage, such as a lumbar for a sofa or a small 40cm cushion.

MoroccanArtCraft

Authentic Handmade and vintage Moroccan pillows, such as timeless cactus silk!

LeonPillowCovers

Traditional very pretty and neutral vintage turkish pillows in a variety of sizes. The small pillows look lovely placed with plain linen on a sofa for a subtle texture and character.
